I loved the skywalk despite being petrified of heights, it is a must do! I loved Hoover Dam and the history as well. We seemed to be ahead of the crowds the whole trip, which was great. The MaxTour caught my eye because it included both of those and a stop at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. We had an awesome time and got some amazing pictures. Our tour guide Bobby was fun and knowledgeable and knew all the best picture spots. We also had snacks and water in the van which was an added bonus! There were only 8 people on the tour which was a perfect number and allowed for a more personal experience. I would highly recommend this tour ! read less

The tour enabled us to get down inside the dam & view from various points. Pat was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of facts about the Dam & Vegas in general on our way to the Dam. We liked the fact that the Tour was small with only 13 of us in total. We even stumbled across a car show in Boulder City & Pat let us have a look at this as well as going to the Boulder City Museum as planned. On our way back to the Vegas Strip, Pat even dropped us off at our preferred location instead of taking us back to our Hotel, which allowed us to visit another area of the strip. Al in all, a brilliant Tour from Max Tour and we would definitely book with them again. We even got detailed email with our pick up location (including a photograph which really helped) - Administration side of things was great too! read less

Hoover Dam was spectacular, and on our return trip, we stopped for a photo op at the Lookout. While driving in Boulder City, Bobby knew the area where big horn sheep might be gathered, and he was right. We saw 3 big horn sheep up close, very exciting for my grandchildren and myself. He took us to the Hoover Dam museum in Boulder City which had amazing photos of the construction of the Dam. The museum also had a fine art gallery. While driving back to the MGM Grand, Bobby recommended many shows and restaurants, answered questions, He was as informative and interesting as any tour guide I have ever experienced. We really wanted to experience 7 Magic Mountains and Hoover Dam with someone nice and I had a fear at first, but from the pick up at our hotel, till he dropped us off he was truly awesome. He gave us insites for Vegas as well for the rest of our stay to do things the way the locals do. He also gave us tips of Restaurants and places to visit since he is a foodie like us. He took the most amazing photos for us and made sure we were as comfortable as possible during the drives between stops. Kept us hydrated as well. Nothing short of Perfection. you HAVE TO ASK FOR CHAD!!!!!! read less

He was our guide on Sunday, August 7th to the Hoover Dam and Skywalk. He was knowledgeable, funny, and most of all made the trip great. Our 13yo daughter is hearing impaired and he was so great with her, making sure she could hear him, letting her sit up front, and even listening to her sing along to music on the long ride home to Vegas. I can tell you from experience, not everyone is as kind and understanding about her not hearing and can often make her feel bad about it. Gary truly made the trip. He was great, even if he wasn't a Patriots football fan. ;) He even made sure to point out where the Golden Knights play which my 15yo son is telling everyone about. Our guide, Thomas, was exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable about each of our destinations. We visited 7 Magic Mountains, The Hoover Damn, and the West Rim. Snacks were good, with plenty of beverages at every stop. Thomas knew so much about the area, not just the tour stops. His off-hand bits of wisdom about local towns or points of interest spawned interesting conversations in the group, and kept the driving portions of the tour lively and entertaining. We left at 7 am, and made it back to the hotel around 7, and had plenty of time to catch our 8 pm dinner reservation.I can whole heartedly recommend this tour, and we plan on checking out this group's tour offerings in the future. read less
