I recently took the 3 day tour of Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley.

My guide was Elaine and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was super friendly and welcoming. She is extremely knowledgeable and happy to share all kinds of interesting information about the beautiful places we visited. She made sure we were all comfortable, well fed and hydrated. Elaine is a superb driver, I always felt safe with her driving us to all our destinations.

The tour itinerary was perfect, it included all the places I’ve wanted to see. Pure beauty. Plenty of time to enjoy each place, did not feel rushed. Lots of opportunities to take gorgeous photos and enjoy the scenery.

Great hike in Zion, amazing hoodoos in Bryce, Antelope Canyon was unbelievable, Horseshoe Bend spectacular, Monument Valley and the 4x4 ride was so fun.

The local guides in Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley made sure we had pictures taken at all the right photo spots.

We also visited Williams, Az where I had a delicious lunch (BBQ brisket sandwich) at a fun place called Cruisers. Loved the feeling of Americana. We got to go to Route 66 too, a cool stop.

The lunches provided were delicious and filling. The chicken sandwich (provided by The Birdhouse in Page, AZ) was exceptional. The beverages and snacks provided by Elaine throughout our trip were plentiful and always hit the spot for road traveling.

The hotel in Page (La Quinta) was great. Very spacious, comfortable beds, clean and had a very nice breakfast spread.

I highly recommend this 3 day tour with Max Tours and I plan on taking more trips with them again in the Fall.

Just did a 2-day Arizona tour (Antelope Canyon + Grand Canyon) with MaxTour and had an amazing experience thanks to our guide, Carl!

- Super friendly and approachable, speaks fluent Chinese and takes great care of everyone
- Very well organized tour, with flexible food stops in Page & Williams (nice to have options!)
- Plenty of restroom breaks during the drive — really appreciated for a long road trip
- Great photography skills — knows the best photo spots and helps avoid crowds
- Awesome music playlist for the drive
- Very knowledgeable about all the sights and shared lots of interesting info

Highly recommend this tour — and if you get Carl as your guide, you’re in good hands!

So I will be the first to say that you can see the Hoover dam for cheaper than what you would spend on this tour. BUT...you would be doing yourself a disservice.

When you combine the price of admission for the Hoover Dam and the tour, plus transportation to the dam (this was our situation, yours may be different.) you are much better off going with a tour like Max tour. Price-wise, it comes out to being very close to the same. But you get so much more value with the tour as opposed to doing it yourself.

Having said that, Robert, our tour guide, did a superb job of getting us to the Hoover Dam, walking the Dam with us and explaining the history and everything that we're seeing. He also entertained us with trivia, conversation and just plain interacting with us all throughout the trip. He kept us entertained, on schedule and back to our hotels on time.

One word….BOBBY! He made our small group tour (12 people) worth every penny paid for the tour! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, FUNNY, and a pretty good cameraman 😁!

Everything this company advertises, it stands by it! Pickup and drop-off at our hotel, unlimited snacks, appropriately timed stops/bathroom breaks, and bonus stops! Everything was communicated and the process was smooth!

People in our tour group were friendly, and we actually talked and got to know each other which made for a better experience! We stop all the places listed and even had some bonus stops to see horned-goats and Joshua Trees!

The Las Vegas sign was cool! Seven Magic Mountains was a nice treat. The Hoover Dam and The Grand Canyon West Rim were breathtaking! Photos do not do these places justice! Bobby gave information and was patience with any additional questions anyone had.

I would book with them again!
