So I will be the first to say that you can see the Hoover dam for cheaper than what you would spend on this tour. BUT...you would be doing yourself a disservice.

When you combine the price of admission for the Hoover Dam and the tour, plus transportation to the dam (this was our situation, yours may be different.) you are much better off going with a tour like Max tour. Price-wise, it comes out to being very close to the same. But you get so much more value with the tour as opposed to doing it yourself.

Having said that, Robert, our tour guide, did a superb job of getting us to the Hoover Dam, walking the Dam with us and explaining the history and everything that we're seeing. He also entertained us with trivia, conversation and just plain interacting with us all throughout the trip. He kept us entertained, on schedule and back to our hotels on time.

One word….BOBBY! He made our small group tour (12 people) worth every penny paid for the tour! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, FUNNY, and a pretty good cameraman 😁!

Everything this company advertises, it stands by it! Pickup and drop-off at our hotel, unlimited snacks, appropriately timed stops/bathroom breaks, and bonus stops! Everything was communicated and the process was smooth!

People in our tour group were friendly, and we actually talked and got to know each other which made for a better experience! We stop all the places listed and even had some bonus stops to see horned-goats and Joshua Trees!

The Las Vegas sign was cool! Seven Magic Mountains was a nice treat. The Hoover Dam and The Grand Canyon West Rim were breathtaking! Photos do not do these places justice! Bobby gave information and was patience with any additional questions anyone had.

I would book with them again!

We did the three-day trip including stops at the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Zion and Bryce National Parks, and Horseshoe Bend. We loved everything about it. We wish our stops had been longer so we could have enjoyed the nature and scenery even more. Our tour guide was Jim, and we loved him too. He drove us safely, was patient and funny, gave us lots of information about the sights, and shared many good laughs with us. We will miss his road trip playlist. Our tour group was small and the people were really nice and fun. We also liked the complimentary drinks and snacks. Overall an amazing trip.
Pictures don’t capture the true beauty of the Canyons.

It was great to get out of the Vegas strip experience and travel out past Boulder City to the Hoover Dam with Robert and his well stocked MaxTour passenger van. Felt very comfortable with the entire experience and was very glad we added the trip to our stay. Thanks for a great afternoon Robert!

We took the sleep-in half day tour to the Grand Canyon.
Saw a long horn sheep, elk sleeping under a tree, Joshua Trees (a lot of them), Hoover dam and our beautiful Grand Canyon.
Our guide, Corey stopped at bonus areas, explained the history and sometimes the future of the areas. She's a fantastic guide with a mild, easy-going attitude and voice (she does sing by the way).
My husband did the sky walk and said it was worth the trip, I did not. I appreciate beauty with something under my feet other than glass.
We all began as strangers and arrived back in Vegas as friends.
Great job Max Tours and Corey!!!

I have booked them any one day tours through via tour, but this is the first multiple detour that I have booked for my husband and I.

We were On the tour with 11 other people. Our driver, Scott was amazing! He made many scheduled bathroom break stops, opportunities to stretch your legs, buy souvenir items. But he did not hesitate to stop if anyone in the group needed to More frequently.

Scott’s was a great photographer, and suggested things to eat, and on the days that the tour did not provide lunch or dinner. He was very flexible in driving us to restaurants, to get takeout, etc.

He even had a curated playlist for the three days of the trip, which was very fun and entertaining

The sites were incredible. Our favorite was lower Antelope Canyon, which was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide in the canyon even showed us how to take some expert photographs using our phones.

Monument Valley was amazing as well, and the open air to our tour really made it special. Horseshoe Bend was also a sight that we will not forget anytime soon.

Zion was beautiful as well, however, it was very crowded and the line to get on the tram was very long. We felt like we missed out on seeing a good portion of the park for that reason. It was very hot that day and there is not a lot of shade in that park.

The hotel that we stayed at both nights was basic, but it was clean and comfortable.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone
