We joined the 3-day tour and had a great experience.
The national parks and landscapes along the route were absolutely stunning. We have experienced so many different types of fantastic landscapes and weather experience in this short three day trip (but felt and experienced a lot!) My personal best was riding in the back of the open truck through Monument Valley. It was honestly very cold, but the feeling of driving through that huge open landscape was amazing and something I won’t forget.

Our guide Jim was the magic man to make this trip even more fantasitic, he is very friendly, talkative, and professional. He shared a lot of useful information about the road, the parks, and travel tips..and even a lot of country music, which fully fuilfilled my imagination of road trip through Nevada and Arizona.

We traveled during extreme weather conditions with snow and road closures, but Jim made it! He always prioritized safety and still tried his best to help us see beautiful scenery whenever possible...not to mention those long time drive! It was not easy driving under those conditions, and we really feel lucky to have Jim as our guide!

Wow, what a fabulous 2 days. Such wonderful scenery during the tour. The Jenkins 4 loved each day and experiencing American food and hospitality in 3 US states.
Our favourite sites were Seligman Route 66, Horse Shoe Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon and the very impressive Grand Canyon for it’s shear size.
Anthony Cerulli was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and very patient during our trip.
I would definitely recommend Max Tours to anyone wanting to experience Route 66 and various canyon experiences.
Thank you Anthony and Max Tours

Great first experience exploring the National Parks – and huge thanks to our guide Jim We joined the 3-day tour and overall it was a very memorable experience.

The national parks included in the itinerary and the scenery along the route were absolutely worth seeing. Every day felt like a new surprise, and we were constantly amazed by the landscapes along the way. Even though the weather was not ideal at times, the beauty of the scenery made the whole journey feel very fulfilling. It evitably worth spending three days (even more!) to feel and experience.

Our guide Jim made a big difference throughout the trip. He is a very talkative and friendly guide, and during the long drives he played a lot of classic American country and rock music. Driving through Nevada and Arizona with those songs and the scenery around us felt incredibly fitting. For me as a foreign visitor, it perfectly matched my imagination of what an American road trip would feel like.

Jim was always communicative and informative. Along the way he kept us updated about road conditions, rest stops, time differences, safety reminders, and interesting facts about the places we passed through. During waiting times or breaks he would also chat with everyone, which made the atmosphere in the group very relaxed and enjoyable.

What impressed me the most was his professionalism and sense of responsibility. Our trip happened during a period of very extreme weather conditions — we experienced snow, blizzard, and occasional road closures. These situations obviously affected travel time and sometimes the sightseeing experience as well. Despite that, Jim constantly worked to find opportunities for us to still see beautiful scenery and safely navigate through the unexpected situations. Driving long distances in those conditions must have been very challenging, but he always kept safety as the top priority. It was not easy work and we really appreciated his effort.

Another highlight of the trip was meeting other travelers in the group. There were couples, solo travelers, and friends from different places, and everyone got along very well. It created a really friendly and fun atmosphere during the journey.

The hotel we stayed at during the trip was also comfortable, which was important after long days on the road.
The vehicle was a mid-size bus (around 15 seats), with enough space for luggage and winter clothing, good heating, and large windows so we could enjoy the scenery during the drives.

The fee was communicated very clearly, no additional requests (except for the national park card which was requested by the gov )

Overall, this tour was a great introduction for first-time visitors who wants to explore the national parks in the American Southwest.

Very memorable Grand Canyon tour Our tour guide was Scott. He’s attentive to details, gives good information about the areas, recommendations for meals, best photo spots etc. We like the small group (12 people this trip), the van is very comfortable and roomy. Plenty of snacks and drinks, and break stops. If you’ve come all the way, just pay a little more and go with Max Tour, it’s worth it. Better still get Scott!

A Perfect Day We went on the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and 7 Magic Mountains Tour on 24Feb2026. Bobby was our Guide and we knew from the outset we were going to have an incredible day (he has a fab sense of humour).
We were picked up from the Hotel at 07.00, there was 9 people on the tour which made it fluid, intimate and economical on time.
The tour had lots of additions, including the Vegas sign, Joshua trees and look-outs. Bobby was into photography so provided great tips on where to get the best shots. He was knowledgable not only Las Vegas, but about each site we visited, and provided practical tips on how to maximise our experience. The tour never felt rushed, with plenty of time to explore at each site. Bobby educated us about wildlife in the area, including chipmunks-which we were lucky to see 2. Snacks and drinks were unlimited with plenty of choice - bars, fruit and muffins to name a few. It was my husbands birthday on the day of the tour and he couldn't have wished for a more perfect day. I have no reservation in recommending this tour 5*-thanks Bobby!
