We had David (Big Dave) as our guide for our tour to Antelope Canyon. He made the whole trip wonderful and enjoyable from beginning to the end with his excellent service and lively personality. He’s also very knowledgeable of the history and fun facts of each attraction site. I will absolutely recommend him as your guide. Thank you David!

Pick MaxTours, you won't be disappointed. The tour size is smaller than the big bus tours so you get a better experience and personalized attention. Our Tour guide Rocco was the best, we had so much fun with him and he kept us laughing.

Trip: 2 day Grand Canyon Tour from Vegas Guide: Justin Bartz Overall: 10/10 This was my first time doing a small group minivan tour. I usually rent a car and plan my own itinerary as I get flexibility and don't need to be with other people. However, this trip changed my perception of mini-group tours. The van was comfortable, itinerary was good (no long bus hauls with many sightseeing spots), and there was flexibility on time. A good guide is most important and Justin is the man. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a care-free, fulfilling time, with hidden photo-taking spots. Itinerary: Two days of travelling to Grand Canyon and back. In between, there are multiple sight seeing spots. First day we were at Grand Canyon and other spots in between such as the Hoover Dam, and no single drive was more than 1.5 hrs. Second day we hit antelope canyon and a few other sightseeing spots. Drove back to Vegas afterwards and arrived back at the hotel at 7:30pm. We even had time to have dinner and catch the KA show at 9:30pm! Logistics: Credits to Justin on this one - drive was super smooth, and more than enough toilet breaks in between drives to make sure you can have water throughout drives. Also unlimited snacks/bevs (inc. water) on the trip. Food/Hotel: We stayed at a town with good hotel and food choices. From American, Mexican, to Asian cuisine (we opted for Korean food which was very nice). Even supermarkets. Hotel was clean, big, and comfortable. Slept beautiful. Guide: (recommend) Justin goes heads to toes in making sure you're enjoying the trip. From the very start, he keeps the tour on time and is familiar with every sightseeing spot. Justin is pro-active and helps take wonderful photos (even brings us to hidden spots for photo-taking when there are many tourists to avoid the crowd). Overall a very professional guide and one I would recommend to anyone (whether you are looking for a interactive OR quiet trip). Justin ensures you have a happy trip.

Joined the 2 days tour with MaxTour during our stay in Las Vegas. We were very lucky to have Justin assigned as our tour guide for this once in a life time trip! Justin is a professional, humorous, knows what he is doing guide. He always tries to make sure we are happy with every single detail and most importantly he ensures our safety by driving extremely stable during the entire trip. He also knows all the hidden spot to take photos and is a good photographer! What else can u ask for? He made the trip unforgettable! Highly recommended!

This tour with Max Tours was incredible and exceeded all expectations (and yes, I know this tour already has so many glowing reviews!). From start to finish our incredible driver Bobby was sensational! He was kind, extremely knowledgeable of the local area, pointing out multiple interesting things enroute and adding history to the tour above the normal stops. Bobby made sure all passengers were comfortable and drove with the utmost care, we felt safe and looked after. Bobby went above and beyond to help us get incredible photos, and even managed a few bonus stops as the group managed our time well (something he definitely didn’t need to do, and we would have been non the wiser if he had sped through the tour to get home early). The tour itself is a long day, we were picked up bang on time, once all passengers were present had a briefing of what to expect during the day and then off we went. First stop was the famous Vegas sign; we arrived early and beat the crowds, we were the only tour minibus there with just a handful of individual tourists taking photos. Bobby helped capture some group photos and individual ones to kick the tour of memorably. We then headed to Seven Magic Mountains, again we were the only tour present at the time of arrival and departure meaning we captured some great photos without people in the background. At this point we had our breakfast muffin and some snacks before heading on to the Hoover Dam. At the Hoover Dam Bobby drove over the dam to explain some parts of the history and key facts stopping on the Arizona side for some pictures ‘behind’ the dam, then proceeding back across to the Nevada side to allow us time to wander over the dam on foot and explore at our leisure. From the Hoover Dam we then proceeded to bonus stop 1 of an overlook of Lake Mead, then onto a gas station midway to the Grand Canyon. Here we had chance to buy a Subway sandwich or other items for lunch before proceeding onto the main event. Again through the journey Bobby was attentive, answered questions on the journey and pointed out various landmarks to keep the journey interesting. Once at the Grand Canyon we were cleared through security and as Max Tours is an authorised operator Bobby was able to drive us to the two key points (Guano & Eagle point) in the minibus, something other operators are not able to do and rely on the parks own shuttle service! This was definitely a bonus as we did not have to wait for potentially crowded buses and set our own schedule. Both Guano & Eagle point had incredible views, of which we were lucky to have the weather on our side to get clear views of the canyon seeing for miles around! We purchased the additional Skywalk tickets which Bobby had to hand on arrival at Eagle Point. The Skywalk gave incredible perspective of the canyon and added an additional once in a lifetime experience. Sadly due to issues during Covid-19 the glass of the Skywalk is a little scuffed in places, it is still easy to see to the Canyon floor but dulls the view a little; the other slight negative is not being permitted to take your own camera onto the Skywalk to capture the views, but it’s understandable for both safety and crowd control reasons. (There are photographers on the Skywalk who can capture images for a fee). On the way back we made a short stop at the Joshua Tree forest before making the journey back to Vegas. We would highly, highly recommend anyone coming to Vegas to take the tour if they wanted to see the Canyon! The service was outstanding, if you’re lucky enough to get Bobby was your tour guide he elevates the experience above expectations, and you’ll be able to capture some incredible memories!
