Unforgettable Small Group Tours from Las Vegas

Great experience from start to finish. We did the Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon day tour. Our tour guide Jonny was very knowledgeable not only about the sites but also history and geography. Very professional, personable and a very safe driver. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!

We signed up for the two-day MaxTour partially because of its great reviews, and it turned out to be a FABULOUS experience. We signed up for the two-day tour, and we had Anthony as our tour guide, who is really patient with our photo requests along the trip and very knowledgeable about the history of the Grand Canyon and the Antelope Canyon! Anthony brought ample food and drink.

Our two-day tour with Orlin was a wonderful trip. It was our first time doing a tour like this and it exceeded our expectations. Orlin was calm, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. He was great at explaining things and we felt very safe with him behind the wheel. It was a great way to see a lot of sights without the worry of planning, driving, and maximizing our time at each stop.

I don’t write reviews unless I think an experience was exceptional, and I felt compelled to do this because Bobby was the BEST tour guide I have ever had. I would never have guessed that he was not born and raised in Las Vegas (he is originally from Georgia), because he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the city and its surroundings. While driving from hotel to hotel in the morning to pick up all of the passengers, he started sharing fascinating tidbits about random places that we happened to drive by (e.g. the exact spot that Tupac was shot; a major but abandoned construction project). On the drive to 7 Magic Mountains, Hoover Dam, and Grand Canyon West, he continued to educate us about scenic spots (e.g. solar farms; Joshua Trees) that we probably would not have known much about had we been driving there on our own. Perhaps what truly makes Bobby an outstanding guide is that he just gives off “good guy” vibes and seemed to genuinely want all of his passengers to feel safe, comfortable, and happy. And as a huge food lover, I especially appreciated that he dedicated the entire half hour of the ride home for his restaurant recommendations - helpfully breaking them down by food category (e.g. best bang-for-your buck buffet; best steakhouse). I even went to one of his recommended restaurants the next day and absolutely loved the hamburger. While the Grand Canyon had long been on my “bucket list,” I am so grateful to Bobby and Max Tours for elevating it to a spectacular excursion. Thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with MaxTour on our trip to Death Valley! The booking experience was simple and straight forward and the vehicle was very comfortable, even in 100 degree weather.

From the very beginning, the convenience stood out—they picked us up directly from our hotel instead of making us travel to a central meeting point (or a nearby hotel). That small detail made a big difference, especially when traveling with family.

Our tour guide, Corey, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance between being informative and giving us time to simply enjoy the scenery. Her knowledge of the area added so much to the experience, but she never overdid it with constant talking—something we really appreciated.

What truly stood out was how thoughtful Corey was in tailoring the experience for our group. Traveling with an 11-year-old, we were especially grateful that she kept all commentary completely PG. Her overview of Las Vegas history was engaging, age-appropriate, and avoided the more questionable aspects often associated with the city. It made the tour comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

We also never felt rushed at any stop, yet Corey kept everything running smoothly and on schedule—a rare and impressive balance.

The small group setting made the entire experience feel more personal and relaxed, allowing us to fully take in the beauty of Death Valley without feeling like just another face in a crowd.

Overall, this was a top-notch tour from start to finish. Highly recommend MaxTour—and if you can, ask for Corey!

Fantastic tour and great company! I booked the Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains tour. Corey was our guide! She was amazing. Incredibly kind, engaging, and fun to talk with. Booking online was very easy, pickup process was great. I had an issue with the hotel pick up the day before, called and they got it squared away immediately. Worth every penny! The snacks and drinks on board were plenty, plus a stop for snacks/lunch. Bonus stops along the way made the trip even more exciting. I was blessed to see so many parts of the country I have never seen before. If I am ever in Las Vegas again, I will definitely book another tour with this company.
