Awesome day trip! This tour was fantastic! David picked us up right on time, with plenty of water and snacks for the day. He shared great information in each of the stops, particularly at Hoover Dam. My teenagers rate the Seven Magic Mountains as one of the top highlights of our trip! We got back with plenty of time to walk the strip and enjoy an afternoon in Las Vegas.

I would recommend booking this tour. We were looking for tours that were about half the day of the Hoover Dam and decided to book this one after reading different reviews on Trip Advisor. I am confident we ended up with the best experience. April was an amazing tour guide. Not only could you tell how familiar she was with the area, she was a joy to spend these few hours with and she made the experience very comfortable. She also offered snacks and drinks at every opportunity. The van/bus and group size was the perfect size to feel like you still received a personalized experience. April even offered to take pictures all along the way and was able to do this for the entire group.

Mac was such an amazing tour guide! We did the Hoover Dam walk across tour and it was fantastic. Mac was a great photographer for us and was extremely knowledgeable about everything that we were seeing. He was super friendly and offered us lots of free snacks and drinks throughout the trip.

So well worth the trip! Our trip was with Corey. She was timely, knowledgeable, and was very attentive to her travelers.
We thought about driving to Hoover Dam on our own, but taking this guided tour was so worth it. It’s not too often that my husband gets to sit back, relax, enjoy the view and not worry about driving.
Corey’s knowledge along with places to stop for photo ops was well worth it.
Definitely recommend this trip, the Hoover Dam is amazing to see!

Are kids allowed on this tour?

Yes of course! There’s no children's price, but any children aged 5 and older are welcome to enjoy the ride at the full rate. And just let us know if you need a booster seat and we can arrange it at no extra cost.

Why is the 12 PM departure not available?

The noon departure option is exclusively offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, excluding the summer season.

What hotels do you pick up from?

We pick up from all hotels within 2 miles of the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas.

What time does this tour start and end?

Pick-ups are from 7:15-8:00 AM and drop-offs are usually from 1:00 and 2:00 PM, depending on the conditions on the day of the tour.

What kind of vehicle will we tour on?

You will tour in high roof extended length passenger vans with 9 feet of head room, huge viewing windows, and plenty of legroom in each seat.

Do we need to bring drinks and snacks?

No you don't! We’ll provide unlimited water, drinks, and snacks for our guests along the way.

Will I be picked up at my hotel?

Yes! As long as you are staying at a hotel within 2 miles of the Las Vegas strip or Downtown Las Vegas, you will be picked up directly from your hotel. We will email you the day before your tour to arrange the exact time and place you will be picked up.

Is there a bathroom onboard?

Our tours are conducted in 15 seat passenger vans, not buses. There is no bathroom on our vans. We will make timely stops so all our guests can use the restroom.

Can I bring a wheelchair or scooter on the tour?

Unfortunately there isn't room on our small group tour vans to bring a wheelchair.

Are tips mandatory?

Your Tour Guide will work hard to ensure that all guests in attendance enjoy a uniquely memorable experience while traveling with MaxTour, and will serve as your photographer and chauffeur in addition to your source for knowledge about the sites your tour visits. While tipping is not mandatory, it is common practice and greatly appreciated by your Tour Guide.

Are mobility aids allowed on the tours?

Mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and walkers are not allowed. Arriving with any of these will result in a denial of boarding without a refund.

What if I book a tour within 24 hours of departure?

Hotel pickup is not guaranteed for tours booked within 24 hours of departure.

Are there exceptions to the cancellation policy?

No exceptions will be made to the cancellation policy. To safeguard your trip against unforeseen circumstances, we recommend purchasing our Protect My Trip option.

How will I know my pickup details?

You will receive an email the day before your tour to arrange your pickup time and location.

What is the deposit requirement when booking a tour?

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is due 7 days before the departure date.

What happens if I book a tour within 10 days of departure?

For bookings made 10 days or less before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Will my credit card be automatically charged for the remaining balance?

Yes, if a credit card is used to make your deposit, the same card will automatically be charged for the remaining balance when it is due, unless you advise us of an alternative payment method.
