Im very happy. Andrew is very kind and was an incredible tourguide. The tour is very complete, with a lot of stops so it’s comfortable although is a long trip, unlimited drinks and snacks and the lunch was delicious. The views were incredible and I’m happy we decided to go. Highly recommended!!!

It was exceptional experienced big thanks to Justin. The travel so relaxing always giving us a time to use the washroom. He’s taking care of us until we finished the tour. We did the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon tour on our trip to Vegas. We heard of Maxtours on a YouTube video and I thought I’d look them up. This was the absolute best tour I have ever been on!

The group size wasn’t too large where each stop would take forever, there were plenty of snacks and drinks to last you all day, there were beautiful bonus stops, and the vehicle was comfortable enough I may or may not have dozed off for a few minutes🫣

I believe what made the tour that much more exceptional was Bobby, our tour guide. He remembered everyone’s name and would use them frequently to add a personal touch. There were jokes for days as well as an abundance of knowledge for each stop we went to, as well Vegas! He even supplied us with a list of recommendations for restaurants we should check out for the remainder of our trip.

Absolutely exceptional, and such an amazing time!

firstly the process of booking the tour was easy. we booked it one month in prior as we would be travelling for about 40 days around the US. from the beginning till the end the trip was smooth, we had Corey as our guide she was very thoughtful, helpful, and made sure we were all safe. highly recommended tour if this is your first time to the Southwest and you have a short period of time.

Fantastic tour. We did the sleep in tour which was great. Didn’t have to rush out early in the morning and still saw the key things we wanted to - Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon . The Grand Canyon was amazing. I was absolutely stunned at the beauty and just what Mother Earth can do when left alone. Definitely makes you feel small. Our tour guide Melony was great. She was knowledgeable and funny and could very well be the best dam tour guide we have ever had :).

Excellent Trip and Fantastic Guide. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour from start to finish. Our guide Jon arrived early to pick us up and was waiting for us at the exact time allocated. He was very friendly and welcoming. He instantly made my 10 year old son feel at ease and excited for the tour by inviting him to sit in the front and help him with the music playlist. My son loved this and was thrilled to be allowed in the front seat! Jon was very knowledgeable about all the sites, sharing interesting information and was happy to answer all our questions. Jon had a great sense of humour and kept us all entertained throughout the tour. The bus was spotlessly clean with hand sanitizer and wipes available. There were plenty of toilet breaks and an abundance of snacks and drinks were offered regularly. I am gluten free and there were plenty of snacks suitable for me to eat. The weather was rainy and cold so Jon was flexible with the timings asking us if we would like a slightly earlier finish due to the bad weather. He also provided umbrellas for our use when exploring the canyon. Everything went really smoothly and the tour was exactly as described on the website- no disappointments and no hidden extra costs. We will definitely be using Max Tours again and would highly recommend them.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Begin your journey with an easy check-in at one of our convenient Los Angeles pickup locations before heading east toward the open desert.

Travel through wide mountain ranges and dramatic desert scenery on your way to Death Valley National Park, where your first stop is the sweeping Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, perfect for iconic photos and a short walk on the soft golden sand.

Continue to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center to learn about the park’s extreme climate and unique geology before enjoying a relaxing lunch surrounded by rugged desert mountains at Death Valley Ranch.

After lunch, visit Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America, and walk out onto the vast salt flats. Then head to Zabriskie Point for panoramic views over colorful badlands and some of the park’s most dramatic formations.

In the late afternoon, drive east across quiet desert highways toward Nevada and arrive at your included Las Vegas hotel for the night. Enjoy a free evening to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2

Start your morning with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel and a light breakfast to begin the day smoothly. You’ll leave your full-size luggage at the hotel and continue the tour with a small overnight bag.

Journey to Zion National Park, one of Utah’s most stunning landscapes. Take time to explore its towering cliffs, scenic vistas, and iconic landmarks such as The Watchman and Checkerboard Mesa.

Next, head to Lower Antelope Canyon, where a local Navajo guide will lead you through this world-famous slot canyon, known for its incredible colors and flowing sandstone walls.

Afterward, enjoy a short walk to the breathtaking overlook at Horseshoe Bend, one of the most photographed spots in the Southwest.

In the evening, check into your included hotel in Page, AZ.

Day 3

Begin your morning at Grand Canyon National Park – South Rim, taking in several classic viewpoints such as Yavapai Point, Grandview Point, and Lipan Point. Enjoy wide, panoramic views of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. (Stops may vary.)

After exploring the Grand Canyon, continue onto Historic Route 66. Your first stop is the charming town of Williams, AZ, where you can enjoy lunch (own expense) and stroll through its nostalgic downtown.

Continue along Route 66 to Seligman, AZ, the birthplace of the Route 66 revival, with time for photos and sightseeing.

Relax on the return drive through the desert, with convenient drop-off back at the place you stayed on night 1.

The tour departs Los Angeles between 6:00–6:40 AM on Day 1 and finishes in Las Vegas around 6:30–7:30 PM on Day 3.

We offer pickup in Los Angeles at two convenient locations—LAX and Downtown. At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off at the Las Vegas Strip hotel included for your first night.

Yes, two nights of comfortable hotel accommodations are included in the tour price.

Breakfast is included on Days 2 and 3. Lunch and dinner stops will be at local restaurants or cafes with a variety of options. Unlimited snacks, drinks, and bottled water are provided throughout the trip.

You’ll ride in a modern, premium air-conditioned van with comfortable seating and large windows for sightseeing.

Yes. You can bring both a full-size suitcase and a carry-on on Day 1.
Our vehicle has enough luggage capacity for everyone on the first day of the tour.

After checking out of your Las Vegas hotel on Day 2, your main bags will stay there at their bell desk.

For Days 2–3, you’ll only bring a small backpack or duffel bag on the vehicle, as space is limited during the national park portion of the tour.

This tour includes several short, easy walks:

 

Zion National Park: A relaxed, 1.1–1.3 mile accessible trail with light elevation.

 

Horseshoe Bend: About 1.3 miles round-trip, with an uphill section on the return.

 

Lower Antelope Canyon: Around 0.7 miles inside the canyon, with a series of metal stairs at the entrance and exit.

 

Most guests with average mobility complete these walks comfortably. There are no long or strenuous hikes on this itinerary.

Yes, vegetarian options are available upon request at booking.

Gratuities are not included. Tipping is optional but appreciated. We recommend $15 per person, per day for your MaxTour guide, and $5 per person for your Navajo guide at Lower Antelope Canyon.

Government-Mandated Non-Resident Park Fees
(Effective January 5, 2026)

Grand Canyon National Park and Zion National Park require a non-resident entry fee for non-U.S. residents age 16 and older. These government-mandated fees are set and collected by the U.S. National Park Service and are not included in the tour price.

Under National Park Service rules, non-U.S. residents must be covered at park entry by one of the following:

Non-resident entrance fee: $100 per adult, per park

Non-Resident America the Beautiful Annual Pass: $250 per pass

One annual pass may cover up to four adults entering together in the same vehicle. Fees apply for each applicable national park visited on the tour.

Coverage must be resolved before park entry. MaxTour does not collect or manage National Park Service non-resident entry fees. Fees and requirements are set by the National Park Service and are subject to change.
