5 Days, 7 National Parks, 2 Perspectives of Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon, One of the 7 Natural Wonders of The World

Description

For some, visiting Las Vegas is strictly an indulgence of city folk: bright lights, chiming slot machines, magical shows, high-quality cuisine, and the other “endearing” qualities that lend to its Sin City reputation. For others, Vegas is just a stepping stone to elsewhere. They’re the nature-loving, adventure-seeking, Insta-editing, cliffside-dwellers of exploration. It’s you we’ve had in mind when we designed this ultimate expedition.

This is the crown jewel of Southwest exploration—a comprehensive 5-day journey through seven magnificent national parks, each offering its own unique beauty and geological wonder. From the towering red rock spires of Zion to the delicate arches carved by millennia of wind and water, from the twisted landscapes of Capitol Reef to the sweeping vistas of Canyonlands, this tour captures the essence of the American Southwest. You’ll experience both above-ground and water-level perspectives of Antelope Canyon, stand at the rim of one of Earth’s seven natural wonders, and traverse landscapes that seem pulled from another planet entirely. There’s nothing to be missed—every moment is a masterpiece. Hop in!

I joined the 3-day Tour with MaxTour in May. Jim was my tour guide and I had a wonderful time. Jim is nice and very knowledgeable. He explained well throughout the entire trip. There were plenty of water bottles and drinks and snacks prepared for the group. I saw a lot in those 3 days and really enjoyed every place that Jim showed us. Thank you, Jim, for making this a memorable 3-day trip.

We recently completed the 2-day Grand Canyon tour from Las Vegas with MaxTour, and it was an outstanding experience. A big thank you to our guide, Ken, who was friendly, patient, and professional throughout the entire trip.

Ken did an excellent job looking after everyone in the group, making sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every stop along the way. His knowledge, organization, and positive attitude made the tour both relaxing and enjoyable.

We were fortunate to visit some truly spectacular locations, including Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon, and, of course, the breathtaking Grand Canyon. Each destination was memorable, but the highlights for us were the incredible views at the Grand Canyon and the stunning beauty of Antelope Canyon.

We highly recommend this tour and especially Ken as a guide. Thank you for helping make our trip such a fantastic experience. Five stars!

Ken was very friendly, thoughtful, and attentive throughout the entire tour. He has a great amount of knowledge and experience in his field, and the information he shared at each location was both interesting and helpful.

Whenever we arrived at a new place, his suggestions and advice for travelers were always practical and sincere. We felt very lucky to have such a professional and caring guide for our trip today.

Highly recommended, and definitely deserving of a 5-star review!

A fantastic day out to the Grand Canyon with Tito!

The later 10am departure was a huge bonus — much better than an early morning start when you’re supposed to be on holiday. The day was perfectly paced with plenty of rest stops, comfortable travel times and no feeling of being rushed.

Tito was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed throughout the entire tour. He shared interesting facts, local history and plenty of stories, all delivered with good humour and enthusiasm. His organisation and timing were excellent, making for a smooth and enjoyable day from start to finish. Unlimited drinks, water & snacks was a real bonus.

I’ve done plenty of tours over the years, and this was one of the best. If you’re considering a Grand Canyon tour, I’d highly recommend this one — and if you’re lucky enough to get Tito as your guide, you’re in for a great day!

Awesome! Luis was our tour guide. He was amazing! Very informative and made sure we got the best experience! We got enough bathroom breaks and even had time to add a few extra stops. The day before we got detailed directions which gave us plenty of time to locate our pick up location.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Las Vegas to Torrey, UT

This tour starts with included pickup service from your Las Vegas Strip or Downtown Hotel.

Enjoy your included continental breakfast as we drive through Nevada and into Utah.

Mesquite Rest Stop. Quick break to stretch your legs before continuing the journey.

Zion National Park. Take 3.5 hours to explore Utah’s first national park, with its towering sandstone cliffs and hanging gardens. Walk among giants on trails like the Emerald Pools or Pa’rus Trail, where the Virgin River winds through a canyon reaching heights of 2,000 feet.

Bryce Canyon National Park. Spend 1.5 hours exploring this geological wonderland of hoodoos—otherworldly rock spires that seem to march across the landscape. Walk along the rim trail or descend into the amphitheater for an up-close view of these magnificent formations carved by frost and erosion.

Drive to Torrey, UT for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel near Capitol Reef National Park.

Note: Due to poor weather in Winter, Bryce Canyon may be substituted for another destination.

Day 2: Capitol Reef & Arches National Parks

Enjoy an included breakfast at your hotel.

Capitol Reef National Park. Spend 3 hours exploring this hidden gem of Utah’s national parks. Even among Utah’s many impressive parks, it is difficult to rival Capitol Reef’s sense of expansiveness—broad, sweeping vistas of tortured, twisted, seemingly endless landscape of limitless sky and desert rock. Discover the Waterpocket Fold, a 100-mile wrinkle in the Earth’s crust, and explore historic orchards planted by Mormon pioneers.

Scenic Drive to Arches. Travel 2.5 hours through stunning Utah landscapes to reach the world’s premier collection of natural stone arches.

Arches National Park. Spend 3.5 hours exploring the greatest concentration of natural arches in the country—over 2,000 stone windows carved by time, weather, and geology. Visit iconic formations like Delicate Arch, Balanced Rock, and the Windows Section, where massive stone frames offer spectacular views of the surrounding desert landscape.

Drive to Moab for dinner and overnight at your hotel in this adventure capital of the Southwest.

Day 3: Canyonlands, Monument Valley & Page

Day three starts with an included breakfast at the hotel.

Canyonlands National Park. Spend 3.5 hours exploring this vast wilderness carved by the Colorado and Green Rivers. Canyonlands is home to many different types of experiences, from the photogenic Mesa Arch (where sunrise creates one of the West’s most iconic shots) to the dramatic overlooks of Island in the Sky district, where you can see for miles across layered canyons and distant mountain ranges.

Drive to Monument Valley. Travel 2.5 hours to reach the iconic landscape of towering buttes and endless horizons.

Monument Valley. Spend 2.5 hours on a 4×4 tour through this sacred Navajo land, where massive sandstone monuments rise hundreds of feet from the desert floor. These iconic formations have appeared in countless Western films and photographs, yet nothing compares to experiencing their majesty in person.

Drive to Page, AZ for dinner and overnight at your hotel overlooking Lake Powell.

Day 4: Antelope Canyon Two Ways & Lake Powell

Day four starts with an included breakfast at the hotel.

Lower Antelope Canyon. Join a local Navajo guide for a 2-hour journey through this world-famous slot canyon, where light beams dance through narrow passageways and walls seem to flow like frozen waves of sandstone. This is one of the most photographed locations in the American Southwest.

Horseshoe Bend. Spend 2 hours at this dramatic overlook where the Colorado River makes a perfect 270-degree turn, creating one of nature’s most spectacular viewpoints. The emerald waters contrast beautifully against the red rock canyon walls nearly 1,000 feet below.

Lunch in Page. Enjoy 1.5 hours at one of Page’s best restaurants (own expense).

Antelope Point Marina Boat Tour. Experience 2.5 hours on Lake Powell for an unforgettable journey through stunning water-carved landscapes. These boat tours offer unparalleled access to the canyon’s breathtaking slot walls from a completely different perspective—gliding through serene waters while towering red rock formations rise above you. See Antelope Canyon from below, accessible only by water.

Glen Canyon Dam. Spend 1 hour learning about this impressive feat of engineering that created Lake Powell, the second-largest man-made reservoir in the United States.

Return to your hotel for dinner at one of the local restaurants (own expense).

Day 5: Grand Canyon, Route 66 & Return to Las Vegas

Enjoy an included breakfast at your hotel.

Grand Canyon National Park. Spend 3 hours visiting one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Your guide will take you to 3 of the best overlooks of the canyon: Lipan Point, Grandview Point, and Yavapai Point, where you’ll witness the incredible depth and scale of this mile-deep gorge carved by the Colorado River over millions of years.

Historic Williams, AZ. Stop in this charming Route 66 town for 1.2 hours of lunch and exploration (own expense). Williams maintains its classic Route 66 character with vintage storefronts and authentic Americana.

Route 66 Photo Stops. Make stops at historic Route 66 markers and the famous Route 66 sign, celebrating America’s Mother Road.

Radiator Springs Photo Stop. Visit the real-life inspiration for the Pixar movie “Cars” at this classic Route 66 gas station (30 minutes).

Rest Stop in White Hills. Final break before arriving back in Las Vegas.

Get dropped off back at your Las Vegas hotel around 8 PM.

Note that the above itinerary is subject to change.
