If you are wondering if you can do Bryce Canyon and Arches in one day, here's a simple answer - yes, but barely, and it isn't recommended.

It takes roughly 4 hours and 50 minutes to drive from Bryce Canyon National Park to Arches National Park, which would leave you with very little time to explore either park. Both parks offer breathtaking views of the Utah desert and are filled with interesting sites that require a lot of exploring.

By attempting to see both in one day, you would likely miss out on a lot of what each park has to offer. We are experts at seeing as much as possible during a trip, like on our 3-Day Grand Canyon Zion, Bryce Tour, but even we wouldn't recommend trying to see both of these in a day.

Bryce Canyon National Park

You might ask yourself why is Bryce Canyon so special? Well, mainly because this National Park is home to a wide variety of stunning hoodoos, spires, and other rock formations. These rocks were formed over millions of years by erosion and weathering.

Visitors can take in the views from various points around the park or hike down into the canyon itself. There are even opportunities for backcountry camping among the hoodoos, which allows visitors to immerse themselves in the scenery.

Arches National Park

At Arches National Park, you'll find more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. These arches were formed by years of erosion, and many are framed by unique rock formations like fins and spires.

The park is filled with trails that can take you through a variety of unique environments and geologic features. There's even an opportunity to explore Devils Garden, a collection of the park's most impressive arches.

So, it is not recommended to try and do Bryce Canyon and the Arches in one day due to all that they have to offer. If possible, it is best to spend at least a few days exploring each park so you can fully appreciate their beauty. That way, you won't miss out on any of their impressive features.

Hitting two national parks in one day may seem like a good idea at first, but it's best to give each park its due time and attention. Taking a few days to explore both parks will allow you to truly appreciate the beauty of Utah's desert.

Things to remember when planning a trip to both Bryce Canyon and Arches National Parks.

For you to enjoy the trip to its fullest, you need to make sure that you are well-prepared. The following are some important points to remember while planning a trip.
